    Growing up around gemstones, Jagpreet learned to judge colour by eye long before lab reports. That instinct only goes so far — so he went for formal gemology to prove what the eye sees.

    What started as a small beginning gradually became a family profession built through years of experience, relationships and an understanding of the gemstone trade that could only be developed over generations.

    Ram Chandra Singh Johri FOUNDER • 1972

    In 1972, my great-grandfather Ram Chandra Singh Johri began his journey in the gemstone business. At a time when the trade was driven almost entirely by personal relationships, market knowledge and years of hands-on experience, he built the foundation of what would eventually become our family’s legacy.

    His work introduced our family to a world where every stone had its own story, character and value.

    SECOND GENERATION

    Joginder Singh Johri TRUST & RELATIONSHIPS

    The journey was then carried forward by my grandfather, Joginder Singh Johri. He took the knowledge and experience passed down to him and continued developing the family’s presence in the gemstone trade.

    With every generation, the business grew not only through gemstones, but through something even more important — relationships and trust within the trade.

    Growing up around this business, gemstones were never simply something I saw at work — they were part of my everyday life. I developed a particular interest in diamonds, fine jewellery and gemology, and began studying the science behind the stones we work with.

    Today, I am involved in our family’s gemstone business while building my own identity through Diamondwith_Jagpreet - 8851962201. My vision is to bring together four generations of experience with modern gemological knowledge and an educational approach.

    Carrying the Legacy Forward

    Ram Chandra Singh Johri started in 1972. Joginder Singh Johri carried it forward. Gurvinder Singh Johri (9811441328) built G.S. GEMS & JEWELS. And today, Jagpreet Singh Johri (8851962201) steps into the fourth generation.

    I don't see my role as simply continuing what was started before me. I see it as building upon it.

    Through Diamondwith_Jagpreet, I want to make gemstones and diamonds easier to understand, while building a personal brand that represents the values our family has carried for generations.
